A piece written as a result of an investigation taking place over the course of several months, this was published by civic journalism site The Philadelphia Citizen in early January 2023 and answers the question: What are we getting for all our work supposedly taking place in Kensington?

"I stopped taking my HIV pills: What new meds mean for HIV+ people."

The first in a series of stories done for POZ magazine, a monthly digital and print publication focusing on HIV advocacy, treatment, research, culture, and science, chronicling both a personal story surrounding switching HIV treatment to bimonthly injections instead of daily pills as well as information about treatment history, interviews with people who made the switch, and more.

For national LGBTQ news site LGBTQ Nation, this column recaps the Club Q shooting in Colorado Springs and argues that, with scores of dead LGBTQ Americans in the wake of  the Pulse and Club Q shootings, it's time that being pro-LGBTQ means being against the machines  making it easier to murder us.

Published in September 2022 on civic journalism site The Philadelphia Citizen, this analysis of the monkeypox outbreak provides local Health Department data and other insights to argue a focus on men who have sex with other men is warranted but comparisons to the early AIDS crisis are misguided and offensive.
